Dacris Benchmarks Lite
You tell the program which speed test to run, and you have the choice of testing the speed of the following systems: processor, memory, hard disk, 2D video and CD/DVD. Dacris Benchmarks Lite will tell you the type and speed of your processor, or the type of video card you have. You can even see your free hard drive space and your system's memory. When you are done with the benchmarks, you can view your results and then save or print out a copy of those results.

Emergency Boot CD
Emergency Boot CD is a bootable CD for system recovery that comes with a set of utilities for backup, restore, repair, and low-level administration. Create backup copies of a working system so it can be restored, if necessary (we hope not!). The program can copy and move files, perform emergency boots, recover the master hard drive boot record, reallocate disk space, change passwords, and recover deleted files and data. There are two versions: Lite and Pro, and both are free. However, the Pro has features that only the hardcore users would want. 'Tis safer to have the boot than to see your system get the boot.

PPPCD lets anyone distribute a PowerPoint 97/2000 compatible presentation on an autorun CD. The program is very easy to use; all you have to do is replace the supplied sample presentation with yours and burn everything on a CD, using your favorite CD burning software. When the CD is inserted, it will automatically launch a welcome screen and start the presentation. If the user does not have PowerPoint installed, it will offer to install the PowerPoint viewer (included).
